Welcome to the 2025 1-Hour Hawaii SAFE Continuing Education Course! In this course, we will discuss identity theft and prohibited acts. It is divided into two chapters. Chapter 1 will cover identity theft, including conversations on state laws that impact how MLOs should handle borrowers' personal information. Chapter 2 will discuss prohibited acts and what happens if an MLO violates the Hawaii Secure & Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (HI-SAFE Act).
