Welcome to the 2025 1 hour Rhode Island Continuing Education Course! In this course, we will be discussing the topics required to be covered by the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation (RI-DBR). The course is broken up into two chapters. In Chapter 1, we will discuss the Rhode Island Home Loan Protection Act, the law primarily responsible for high-cost home loans in the state. Chapter 2 will discuss prohibited acts and required conduct for the mortgage industry under Rhode Island law.
